Epsom’s Kip McGrath, together with us at Once Upon A Town, are hosting the first ever Awesome Teacher Awards to celebrate Epsom and Ewell’s finest teachers and teaching assistants. 

To enter, students have to explain, in no more than 30 words, why their teacher is one-of-a-kind and simply awesome. The competition is open to anyone from Epsom & Ewell between the ages of 6 to 16 years old, with prizes being awarded to the best Primary Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Head Teacher and Teaching Assistant. 

Epsom’s Kip McGrath Centre Director, Emma, says “Having taught in local schools over the years, I know that there are loads of awesome teachers out there. I can’t wait to read through all the entries and see the imaginative descriptions students give about their awesome teachers. You can nominate your class teacher, teaching assistant, subject teacher or even your head teacher – they just need to be awesome for some reason!”

To nominate your chosen school teacher, all you have to do is visit Kip McGrath Epsom for the Awesome Teacher Award form or complete the online form here

Simply comment with the name of your awesome teacher, the lucky school at which they teach and why you’re nominating them (remember, no more than 30 words). The teacher with the most nominations submitted will win the prize! To be eligible teachers must teach in a school within Epsom & Ewell. Closing date March 31st 2020.

Kip McGrath Epsom provide after-school tuition for students between the ages of 5-16, who are looking for extra support or extension in English and Maths.
